Greetings from Turkiye
We have an interesting story to share with you, this time from Istanbul
Dawat-e-Islami's welfare organization, FGRF, was honored with the Great British Care Award 2024 for providing extensive welfare services worldwide.
In recognition of Faizan Global Relief Foundation's (FGRF) comprehensive humanitarian efforts, the UK Department of Social Welfare and various institutions awarded FGRF with four major honors in 2024. According to reports, the UK government, acknowledging FGRF's global relief activities, bestowed its highest accolade, the Great British Care Award 2024, upon the organization.
Mr. Syed Fazil Raza Attari, head of FGRF UK, received the award in Birmingham and stated that it is all thanks to Allah, who has honored FGRF. On this occasion, Syed Fazil Raza Attari, the supervisor of Dawat-e-Islami Wales and patron of FGRF Uk, expressed his gratitude to their Sheikh, Hazrat Allama Maulana Ameer Ahl-e-Sunnat Mr. Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri. He credited Sheikh Qadri for his visionary leadership, which extended Dawat-e-Islami's influence beyond religious activities to establishing organizations that promote the universal system of Islam and work for the welfare of humanity worldwide. The most notable example of this is Dawat-e-Islami's welfare Department, FGRF.
Driven by a selfless spirit of humanitarian service, FGRF has been at the forefront of assisting those affected by earthquakes in Turkey, Syria, and Morocco; tirelessly working day and night to help flood victims in Pakistan; and ensuring continuous support to the people of Palestine. FGRF’s workers are actively engaged in providing food, water, medicine, warm and cold bedding, clothes, and toys for children in Gaza, digging wells, installing water pumps in barren areas, and developing comprehensive plans to combat the effects of climate change-induced disasters by implementing environmental protection measures. Additionally, FGRF collaborates with major global welfare organizations to establish disaster management departments and engage in international reforestation efforts, which stand as a testament to FGRF's humanitarian services recognized worldwide.
In light of these services, the UK government awarded FGRF four major honors in 2024: the British Citizen Award, Outstanding Citizen Award, Volunteer Award and the Great British Care Award 2024.
Mr. Syed Fazil Raza Qadri, head of FGRF UK, expressed his gratitude to all the "Lovers of the Messenger of Allah" around the world who have trusted FGRF, actively participated in its welfare work, and provided financial support.
The Great British Care Award is not only an honor for all those responsible at FGRF who are currently engaged in welfare activities but also a source of joy for every donor, supporter, helper, volunteer, and Lover of the Messenger of Allah residing in the UK. Upon receiving the award, all volunteers and service members of FGRF UK thanked Allah and vowed to continue distributing goodness alongside their mission of promoting benevolence.
