Unique Course on Prayer Timings by Dawat-e-Islami’s Astronomy Department for Scholars and Astronomy Enthusiasts.

The science of astronomy plays a crucial role in the fulfillment of our religious duties, especially when it comes to the varying times for prayers due to the geographical differences across the globe. Prayer times for someone living in the east are different from those in the west. Even within the same country, there are discrepancies in sunrise and sunset times depending on the region, let alone comparing one country to another. Because of this, the system of prayer timings differs significantly across various countries. While it may be challenging for everyone to grasp these differences, it is not impossible.

Over the years, Dawat-e-Islami has made remarkable contributions in the field of astronomy. The organization has already provided annual prayer schedules for Muslims living in most countries around the world, ensuring they perform their prayers at the correct times and face the Qibla accurately. These efforts have been recognized at the governmental level as well.

In this light, Dawat-e-Islami’s Astronomy Department has designed a specialized course aimed at helping Muslims accurately determine prayer times and identify the correct Qibla direction. By participating in this course, you will gain the knowledge and skills to identify the exact timings of prayers and the accurate direction of the Qibla in your city or region.

The “Prayer Timings Course” is being launched by the Astronomy Department of Dawat-e-Islami, specifically for scholars, intellectuals, university students, and individuals associated with Islamic institutions. The course will commence on October 15 and will last for 15 days, with Sundays off. In just 13 days, you will acquire extensive knowledge about astronomy and learn how to determine the sunrise and sunset times in your city or locality.
