Head of Dawat-e-Islami's Education Department Visits Oxford University

Mr. Abdul Wahhab Attari, head of the Education Department of Dawat-e-Islami, visited Oxford University and met with Muslim students studying there. As part of his international university visits, Mr. Abdul Wahhab, who leads the educational efforts of Dawat-e-Islami, toured the renowned Oxford University in England.

 

During his visit, he engaged with students from the Muslim community studying at the university and delivered a talk to both professors and students at the Oxford University Muslim Prayer Hall. In his address, Mr. Wahhab discussed the educational challenges and responsibilities of Muslim students in the modern world, emphasizing their religious duties and the importance of being positive representatives of Islam, so that their character brings people closer to the faith and strengthens its message.

 

This meetup also included an introduction to Dawat-e-Islami’s educational activities and institutions, including Jamia-tul-Madina, and shed light on the education system established under Dawat-e-Islami both in Pakistan and abroad.

 

Following the Oxford visit, Mr. Wahhab had a professional meetup with doctors in Glasgow, Scotland. There, he addressed professionals from various fields, particularly those in the medical sector, inviting them towards righteousness and encouraging them to pursue Islamic teachings alongside worldly knowledge.

 

Mr. Abdul Wahhab Attari, a member of the Central Executive Council of Dawat-e-Islami and head of the Education Department, is currently on an educational tour of Europe. During this study visit, he also toured several renowned universities in England. At Oxford, in particular, he motivated students to walk the path of virtue along with their academic pursuits and engaged in meaningful discussions with both students and faculty on various important topics.
