Dawat-e-Islami’s Weekly Ijtema in Cape Town, South Africa

A special speech by renowned scholar MR Muhammad Imran Attari will be delivered at Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly gathering in Cape Town, South Africa.

On Thursday, January 30, 2025, Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly preaching congregation will take place in Cape Town, the legislative capital and third-largest city of South Africa. Muslims from across the country are expected to participate in this spiritual Ijtema.

Dawat-e-Islami holds weekly congregations every Thursday in more than 150 countries, where thousands of attendees learn Islamic teachings, embrace Sunnah, and adopt Islamic etiquette. These gatherings help people free themselves from baseless traditions, guiding them towards righteousness, character-building, and purification of heart and soul.

In South Africa, Dawat-e-Islami’s congregations continue across major cities and towns, with non-Muslims also being inspired by its efforts and embracing Islam. Moreover, the educational impact of Dawat-e-Islami’s Jamia-tul-Madina institutions has ignited a passion for Islamic learning among the people of South Africa.

Recently, global Islamic preacher, distinguished scholar, and Chief Executive of Dawat-e-Islami’s Executive Advisory Council, Mr Imran Qadri, has been on a preaching tour of South Africa. During this visit, he will also participate in Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly congregation in Cape Town, delivering an enlightening speech on the virtues of seeking Islamic knowledge, self-reformation, the blessings of Islam, and other important topics in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Additionally, Dawat-e-Islami’s spokesperson and contemporary Islamic scholar, Mr Maulana Abdul Habib Attari, will also attend the Cape Town gathering, inspiring attendees to further the noble mission of Islamic service.
