Workshop on Practical Method of Wudu

Workshop on Practical Method of Wudu to be Held in Palmerston North, New Zealand

On December 27, after the Asr prayer, Dawat-e-Islami will conduct a workshop on the practical method of performing Wudu.

Purity and cleanliness, including performing Wudu (ablution), are fundamental prerequisites for offering Salah. Without proper Wudu, the validity of Salah is compromised, as emphasized in the Holy Quran, where the command to perform Wudu before Salah is clearly stated.

This workshop will address essential topics such as:

  • What is Wudu, and how is it performed?
  • The obligatory (Faraid), mandatory (Wajibat), Sunnah, and recommended acts (Mustahabat) of Wudu.
  • The correct sequence and steps of Wudu.
  • The body parts that must be washed during Wudu.
  • Common mistakes made during Wudu and how to avoid them.

Understanding these fundamental aspects is crucial for every Muslim to ensure their Salah is valid and spiritually enriching. The blessings of Salah and the pleasure of drawing closer to Allah depend on the correctness of Wudu.

Recognizing the importance of purification, Dawat-e-Islami frequently organizes courses worldwide—whether in person, online, or through webinars—to educate Muslims about the rules of Wudu. In New Zealand, Dawat-e-Islami's efforts continue through its scholars, preachers, and teachers who conduct similar programs at mosques and Islamic centers. These sessions are designed to be convenient and accessible, enabling participants to learn significant Islamic teachings in a short time.

In Palmerston North, the upcoming Wudu workshop will cover practical demonstrations, correcting common errors, and guidelines for proper Wudu. This one-hour-and-20-minute session will commence after Asr prayer, approximately at 7:00 PM, and conclude by 8:20 PM.
