On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, FGRF donated thousands of blood bags for thalassemia patients
World Blood Donor Day is observed globally, including in Pakistan, on June 14th. On this significant occasion, the Faizan Global Relief Foundation (FGRF) donated 86,000 bags of blood to meet the needs of thalassemia patients and other hospital patients requiring blood. FGRF established blood banks in various cities across the country, raised awareness among the public about donating blood for thalassemia patients, organized medical camps related to blood donation, and addressed the blood shortages faced by different patients. On this World Blood Donor Day, FGRF workers and officials performed a noble service to humanity by donating thousands of bottles of blood for patients suffering from thalassemia and other diseases, marking the first time in the country's history that such a large-scale donation was made on this day۔
