عبادت اُس انتہائی تعظیم کا نام ہے جو بندہ اپنی عبدیت یعنی بندہ ہونے اور معبودکی اُلوہیت یعنی معبود ہونے کے اعتقاد اور اعتراف کے ساتھ بجالائے۔(صراطِ الجنان فی تفسیر القرآن، ج۱، ص۹۰)
