1. Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام desired to meet Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. (Part 23, As-Saffaat, Ayah 99) Whereas Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Himself called His Beloved and Blessed Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم with the privilege of meeting Him. (Part 15, Bani Israel, Ayah 1)
2. Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام wished for guidance. (Part 23, As-Saffaat, Ayah 99) While Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Himself said to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: And to show you the Straight Path. (Part 26, Al-Fath, Ayah 2)
3. Angels came to Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام as respectable and honourable guests. (Part 26, Az-Zariyaat, Ayah 24) And for the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has said: Angels became his supporters and protectors. (Part 4, Aal-e-‘Imran, Ayah 125)
4. Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام made Du’a for the forgiveness of his Ummah. (Part 13, Ibraheem, Ayah 41) While Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Himself commanded the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Ask for the forgiveness of your Ummah. (Part 26, Muhammad, Ayah 19)
5. Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام made Du’a for his blessed Zikr to continue amongst his successors. (Ash-Shu’ara, Ayah 84) While Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ Himself said to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: And We have exalted your remembrance for you. (Part 30, Alam-Nashrah, Ayah 4)
6. In the incident of Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has stated: He strived hard to remove punishment from the Qawm [i.e. people] of Lut. (Part 20, Al-‘Ankaboot, Ayah 32) Whereas Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: And it is not for Allah to punish them while you O dear Rasool (Muhammad) are amongst them. (Part 9, Al-Anfaal, Ayah 33)
7. Sayyiduna Ibraheem عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly asked: O Allah! Accept my Du’a. (Part 13, Ibraheem, Ayah 40) While Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has said to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and his followers: And your Lord proclaimed, ‘Pray to Me, I will accept.’ (Part 24, Al-Mu`min, Ayah 60)
