3-It is permissible for Islamic sisters to fix the braid into their hair that is made of black threads or wool. (Durr-e-Mukhtar, vol. 9, pp. 614-615)

4-Piercing nose and ear of girls is permissible. (Durr-e-Mukhtar, vol. 9, pp. 598)

5-Some people even get the ears of boys pierced and make them wear earring etc., this is impermissible i.e., getting their ears pierced and making them wear jewellery etc., are both impermissible acts. (Ibid, pp. 598; summarized)

6-It is permissible for women to apply Mehndi [henna] to hands or feet. It is impermissible to apply henna to the hands and feet of younger children [boys]. There is no harm in applying henna to the hands and feet of children [girls]. (Ibid, pp. 599)

7-Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی عَـنْـهُ narrated: A transgender person, who had coloured his hands and feet by using henna, was brought to the Noble Rasool صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَالٰى عَـلَيْهِ وَاٰلِـهٖ وَسَـلَّم. He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَالٰى عَـلَيْهِ وَاٰلِـهٖ وَسَـلَّم asked: What is the matter with this man? People humbly said: He imitates women. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَالٰى عَـلَيْهِ وَاٰلِـهٖ وَسَـلَّم ordered: Banish him. Therefore, he was banished from Madinah Munawwarah to Naqee’.
