Ikhtiyarat-e-Mustafa (12Shab)

Book Name:Ikhtiyarat-e-Mustafa (12Shab)

one has ever heard such an expiation for sin that (upon breaking a Sawm before the time) someone gets 21/4 Maunds (a unit of weight equal to 37 kilograms approx.) dates from the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and he is asked to eat them himself and his expiation is paid. (وَاللّٰە)! Indeed, this is the blessed court of mercy of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم that punishment gets turned into reward.

(He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه further states): The one kindest attention of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم turns the grave sins to good deeds, it is for this reason that Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has shown sinners, wrong-doers and ruined persons the blessed door of His Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم so that ‘وَ لَوۡ اَنَّہُمۡ اِذۡ ظَّلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ جَآءُوۡکَ’ and if they, when they have wronged their own souls, come humbly to you and seek forgiveness from Allah, and the Noble Rasool intercedes for them, they will certainly find Allah Almighty as the Most Accepting of Repentance, the Most Merciful.
