blessings of the company of the devotees of Rasool. He became averted towards sins and inclined towards righteous deeds. He developed a mindset to act upon the Sunnahs. He made a firm intention to offer his Salahs punctually and he adorned his head with the crown of ‘Imamah [blessed turban] too. (Maflooj ki Shifa Yaabi ka Raaz, pp. 16)
صَـلُّوا عَلَى الْـحَـبِيْب صَـلَّى الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰى عَـلٰى مُـحَـمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! We were listening about the importance and virtues of Salah. Remember! Salah is a pillar of Islam. Salah prevents one from diseases. Salah is a means of blessings in the sustenance. Salah not only saves one from the punishment of grave but is also a source of light for the dark grave. Wherever it has been commanded to offer Salah in the Holy Quran and blessed Hadees, it refers to offering it with all its Faraaid and Wajibat. Offering Salah with Jama’at is also among the Wajibat for men. Various virtues have been mentioned in Ahadees for offering Salah with Jama’at. For persuasion, let’s listen to three blessed sayings of the Holy Rasool صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
1. He صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Offering Salah with Jama’at is 27 times more superior than offering it alone. (Bukhari, vol. 1, pp. 232, Hadees 645)
2. He صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: The one who performed Wudhu properly, then left for Fard Salah and offered it with the Imam, his sins will be forgiven. (Shu'ab-ul-Iman, vol. 3, pp. 9, Hadees 2727)
3. He صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: When a person offers Salah with Jama’at and implores Allah Almighty for his need, then Allah Almighty does not like the fact that the person returns back before his need is fulfilled. (Hilyat-ul-Awliya, vol. 7, pp. 299, Hadees 10591)
صَـلُّوا عَلَى الْـحَـبِيْب صَـلَّى الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰى عَـلٰى مُـحَـمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard that what great blessings a person attains for offering Salah with Jama’at. Therefore, we shall also develop the habit of offering all five Salahs with Jama’at in the first row of the Masjid. At times, various disable and elderly people struggle to walk towards the Masjid to offer Salah with Jama’at, and then they offer Salah whichever way is
