Book Name:Ilm-e-Deen Kay Fazail

In relation to this part of the verse ‘یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قُوْۤا اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَ اَهْلِیْكُمْ نَارًا’, Sadr-ul-Afadil, ‘Allamah Maulana Sayyid Mufti Na’eem-ud-Deen Muradabadiرَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه mentions in Khaza`in-ul-‘Irfan: (Save yourself and your household from the fire) by adopting the obedience of Allah Almighty and that of His Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, performing worship, refraining from sins, instructing the household upon righteousness and refraining them from evil, and teaching them knowledge and etiquette.

The Holy Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: You all are leaders and rulers of your dependants. And every one of you will be questioned on the Day of Judgement regarding his dependants. (Bukhari, vol. 1, pp. 309, Hadees 893)
