Museebaton Per Sabr Ka Zehin Kaisey Banay

Book Name:Museebaton Per Sabr Ka Zehin Kaisey Banay

Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام remarked, ‘There is no path better than this for seeking the pleasure of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.’ (Raud-ur-Riyaheen, pp. 281)

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه عَزَّوَجَلَّ! This is how a patience observing person should be. After all, which calamity did that worshipper not face? To the extent that the light of his eyes was also taken away. However, there was no difference in his patience and perseverance. He had attained such pinnacle rank of “remaining content upon the Will of Allah Almighty” that he was not even willing to supplicate for cure to Allah Almighty. His mind-set was such that when Allah Almighty has chosen for me to be ill, then I do not wish to be healthy.

Undoubtedly, such mind-set was only specific to people like them. Such Allah-loving people say: نَحنُ نَفْرَحُ بِالْبَلاءِ کمَا یَفْرَحُ اَھْلُ الدُّنیا بِالنِّعَمِ i.e. ‘Upon receiving calamities and afflictions, we become joyous in the same way as the people of this world become happy upon receiving worldly bounties.’

Dear Islamic sisters! Remember! Calamity at times serves as mercy for a believer. Therefore, if we succeed in observing patience over calamity, then we will deserve such huge reward for it on the Day of Judgement that people will be envious of it.

People with salvation will yearn for…

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: ‘On the Day of Judgement, when ill people and those afflicted with calamities will be rewarded, then people with salvation would yearn that if only our skins were cut with scissors in the world. (Tirmizi, vol. 4, pp. 180, Hadees 2410) i.e. Such diseases should have also befallen us in the world in which our skins were cut through operation so that we could also receive the reward today that is given to other ill and calamity-stricken people. (Mirat-ul-Manajih, vol. 2, pp. 424)
