۔2The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: “Whoever remains deprived of softness, he remains deprived of goodness.” (Muslim, pp. 1072, Hadees 2592)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ  عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic sisters! Ponder! How great blessing is for showing softness. Therefore, we should also adopt a habit of softness and should treat Islamic sisters with softness, affection and good manners.

Dear Islamic sisters! We were listening to the biography of Mufti-e-Dawat-e-Islami Mufti Muhammad Farooq Attari Madani رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه Mufti-e-Dawat-e-Islami رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was a wonderful person. For this reason, he was managing a number of responsibilities at one time; he was an excellent Scholar of Islam, he was an experienced Mufti and he was one of the members of Markazi Majlis-e-Shura. But even then, sincerity could be seen in his character. Those people who were privileged to see Mufti Sahib are witness to his humbleness. He would express great love for the serving Islamic brothers especially, as if he used to treat them like brothers and respect them more than other Islamic brothers. He would not sit on the stage in Ijtima’s on sacred nights, etc.

An Islamic brother from Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi narrates: “Mufti Sahib       رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was of such a simple nature that whenever I was with him, I used to feel as if I was with a normal person. He would express simplicity and sincerity everywhere. Looking at his simplicity, one would not even notice that he was such a great Mufti.”

Another Islamic brother narrates: “Mufti Muhammad Farooq Attari رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه would also sit in the Madani Halqahs that would take place after Ijtima’. Many a time, when I would introduce him as an ‘Aalim and Mufti to new Islamic brothers from the locality, he would say with humility, “I am not a Mufti.” Once, he explained to me very beautifully that, “When you introduce me in this manner, I am not able to freely invite people towards Madani activities.” (Mufti Dawat-e-Islami, pp. 55)
