their part in the success of Islam by offering their services to various departments. In the same way, thousands of boys and girls have completed the Holy Quran and its memorisation. The expenditure of just Jami’a-tul-Madinah (for males and female), Madrasa-tul-Madinah (for males and females), and Madani Channel is not only in the millions, but rather in the billions (of rupees). Therefore we too should also give our Zakat and Sadaqah to Dawat-e-Islami, and alongside this we should make individual efforts on our relatives, neighbours and friends and gain donations from them by informing them of the benefits of spending in the way of Allah.

25 Benefits of Sadaqah

Dear Islamic brothers! Ala Hazrat, the Imam of the Ahl-us-Sunnah, Maulana Shah Imam Ahmad Raza Khan رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه has mentioned the Ahadees on the virtues of Sadaqah in volume 23 of Fatawa-Razawiyyah, and then, on page 152, he has given a summary consisting of 25 points in the following words: It is proven from these Ahadees that whichever Muslims participate in this action with a good intention and from pure wealth, they are hopeful of 25 benefits from the favour of their Lord and from the bounties of the court of the Noble Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

(1) By the command of Allah Almighty, they will be saved from a bad death, and seventy (70) doors of a bad end will be closed. (2) Their ages will increase. (3) Their numbers will increase. (4) Their sustenance will be extensive, and their wealth will be in abundance. By making a habit of giving Sadaqah, they will never be dependent (5) They will attain prosperity and blessings. (6) Adversities and calamities will be far removed, a bad end (meaning a bad death) will be prevented, seventy (70) doors of evil will be closed, and seventy (70) types of calamites will be removed. (7) Their cities will be prosperous. (8) The state of dependency will be distanced. (9) Anxiety will perish and contentment of the heart will be gained. (10) They will have help from Allah. (11) The mercy of Allah Almighty will be Wajib for them. (12) The Angels will convey blessings on them. (13) They will do actions which please Allah Almighty. (14) They will be saved from the Wrath of Allah Almighty, (15) Their sins will be forgiven, forgiveness will be Wajib for them, and the fire of their sins will be extinguished.
