Book Name:Qiyamat Ki Alamaat
Indeed, Allah Almighty created the light of your Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم from His light before [creating] all creation.’”[1]
The essence of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is light, but he was sent to the world as a human. Just as Allah Almighty states:
قُلْ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُکُمْ
Say, “Indeed I am but a human like you.[2]
Keep in mind, rejecting the human nature of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is disbelief.[3]
The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is unlike us normal humans, rather he is اَفْضلُ الْبَشر. Mankind has been honoured because of this form he adopted. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:
اَیُّکُمْ مِثْلِی
Who amongst you is similar to me?[4]
It is written in Imam Zurqānī’s commentary regarding the Hadith about the Prophet’s light:
‘Allah Almighty created the light of your Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم from His light’. This shows the greatness of the Prophet’s light and highlights its uniqueness.[5]
