FGRF's Swift Relief Efforts for the People of Gaza Following Ceasefire
Immediately after the ceasefire in Gaza, FGRF, the welfare Department of Dawat-e-Islami, launched swift relief operations to support the people of Gaza. Known globally for its dual focus on religious services and humanitarian aid, FGRF promptly dispatched trucks laden with food supplies and essential items towards Gaza.
The Chief Executive of FGRF and Ambassador of Dawat-e-Islami, renowned Islamic scholar Abdul Habib Attari, along with the Head of FGRF UK, Syed Fazil Raza, put aside all other engagements to focus on aiding the oppressed people of Gaza. Their efforts included providing food, warm clothing to protect against the cold, and addressing the acute shortage of flour by sending a shipment of 24,000 kilograms of flour and 360 ration boxes. They traveled to Jordan, where FGRF volunteers were already stationed with relief supplies.
It is noteworthy that during the recent conflict and dire wartime conditions in Gaza, FGRF went to great lengths to provide medicines, food items, bedding, warm clothes, tents, bottled water, and other essential supplies to those in need. The moment the ceasefire was announced, FGRF representatives, in collaboration with local NGOs, began efforts to restore normalcy in Gaza without delay.
While in Jordan, FGRF's Chief Executive Abdul Habib Attari and Syed Fazil Raza coordinated with local NGOs to deliver food supplies to approximately 650 families. Recognizing the severe flour shortage in Gaza, FGRF's immediate action to transport and distribute flour with the help of local NGOs is indeed a historic accomplishment.
Serving humanity in times of need is akin to breathing life into humanity itself, and FGRF has exemplified this noble principle. As FGRF tirelessly continues its mission of religious and humanitarian services, you too can contribute by joining hands with them to alleviate food shortages and assist in the reconstruction of homes in Gaza. Together with FGRF, let us help heal the wounds of the suffering Ummah
