Graduation & Dastarbandi Ceremony for Students of Madrasa-tul-Madina, Uganda
On Friday, February 21, a graduation and turban-tying ceremony will be held at Faizan-e-Madina Masjid, Lira P7, Uganda, to honor African Muslim students who have successfully completed their Hifz (memorization of the Quran) and Nazirah (recitation of the Quran) at Dawat-e-Islami’s Madrasa-tul-Madina in Uganda.
The event will be attended by a large number of parents, guardians, relatives, teachers from Dawat-e-Islami’s various institutions in Uganda, and responsible members actively engaged in Dawat-e-Islami’s educational and welfare services.
Uganda, a beautiful country in the heart of Africa adorned with stunning lakes, is also among the less privileged nations. To uplift the Muslim community and provide them with access to Islamic education, Dawat-e-Islami has been tirelessly working on numerous educational and training projects. One shining example of these efforts is the students of Madrasa-tul-Madina, who, after completing their basic Quranic education, will now proceed to Jamia-tul-Madina, Uganda, to further pursue Islamic studies.
The graduation ceremony has been scheduled right after Jumu’ah prayer, which will be offered at approximately 1:30 PM at Faizan-e-Madina Masjid, Lira P7, Uganda, followed by the formal program.
