Renowned Preacher of Dawat-e-Islami, Mufti Abdul Nabi Hamidi of South Africa, Passes Away
The esteemed scholar and devoted preacher of Dawat-e-Islami, Mufti Abdul Nabi Hamidi of South Africa, has departed from this transient world, leaving countless devotees of the Last Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم in mourning. His remarkable contribution to the Muslim community includes translating Kanz-ul-Iman into English, enlightening the Ummah with the understanding of the Holy Quran.
Expressing deep sorrow
over his passing, the head of Dawat-e-Islami’s Executive Advisory Council,
Allama Maulana Muhammad Imran Attari, stated:
"With the sad demise of Mufti Abdul Nabi Hamidi Attari, the Muslim
world has lost a great scholarly personality. His passing is an immense loss
for Ahl-e-Sunnah and a significant setback for Dawat-e-Islami."
Based in South Africa,
Mufti Abdul Nabi Hamidi dedicated his life to the propagation of Islam under
the banner of Dawat-e-Islami. He held a deep love and devotion for
Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri, and would oftensay:
"Preachers of Dawat-e-Islami should never feel disheartened in their
religious efforts, for they are under the benevolent guidance of a Wali-e-Kamil
(a perfected saint)."
Mufti Abdul Nabi Hamidi’s greatest scholarly legacy is his English translation of Kanz-ul-Iman, a treasure of knowledge that will continue to benefit the Muslim Ummah until the Day of Judgment, bringing him eternal rewards. His demise has left every member of Dawat-e-Islami grieving the loss of a remarkable preacher and scholar
