A Sunnah inspired Ijtima of Dawat e Islami for individual and social reform to promote Islamic teachings in South Africa.
To engage people in the reformative activities of DawateIslami and to instill awareness of the religion and encourage good deeds, there is a weekly Ijtima held every week. The Congregation of Dawat e Islami commences with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by praising Allah and reciting poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad. Subsequently, Islamic preacher Mubaligh of Dawat-e-Islami deliver comprehensive discourses encompassing religious, moral, reformative, and eschatological aspects, brimming with the fear of God and love for Prophet Muhammad.
Participants in the gathering have the opportunity to learn and teach religious commandments along with receiving encouragement for their own religious reform. After the Ijtima, individual discussions take place, providing an opportunity for participants to meet each other and cultivate a mindset for engaging in religious activities to propagate the message of Islam.
