On the auspicious occasion of Urs of the esteemed personality of the Chishti order
On the occasion of the Urs Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, a Sunnah inspired Ijtima of Dawat-e-Islami will take place in Auckland, New Zealand, at Al-Hijaz Masjid.
All Believers of Islam celebrate with great reverence the Urs of the Greatest Lover, the Caliph of the Muslims, the Leader of the Obedient, Hazrat Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, on the 22nd of Jumada al-Akhir. The life of Imam-ul-Muslimeen, Siddiq Akbar, his religious services, and his sacrifices in support and protection of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are commemorated in the light of the Quran and Hadith.
According to sources, a significant gathering organized by Dawat-e-Islami on the occasion of the Urs of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq is scheduled for January 4th, immediately after the Asr prayer at Al-Hijaz Masjid, 236 Richardson Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland
