Imam Jafar Sadiq رحمۃ اللہ علیہ was born in Madina on Monday 17th of Rabi ul Awwal in the year 80 or 83 Hijri. He holds the position of the sixth Imam in Ahle Bayt. Imam Jafar Sadiq Shahadat took place on the 15th of Rajab 148 AH; a malicious individual poisoned him. His resting place is in Jannah-tul-Baqi, alongside his father, Imam Muhammad Baaqir رحمۃ اللہ علیہ. Imam Jafar Sadiq رحمۃ اللہ علیہ was laid to rest in Jannat-ul-Baqi in Madina, next to his father Imam Muhammad Baqir رحمۃ اللہ علیہ.
On the sorrowful day of the 15th of Rajab 148 AH, Imam Jafar Sadiq رحمۃ اللہ علیہ met his shahadat, succumbing to the effects of a malicious poisoning. His final resting place is in Jannah-tul-Baqi, a serene abode where he lies next to his revered father, Imam Muhammad Baaqir رحمۃ اللہ علیہ.
