The sky replied: I have Bayt-ul-Ma’moor whose Tawaf is performed by the angels and I have Paradise which is the abode of the sacred souls of all the Prophets and Messengers عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام, all the Islamic saints and true believers.

The earth said to the sky: The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم resided in me and implemented (Shari’ah) Islamic Laws on me.

When the sky heard this it fell completely helpless to answer further and became quite. The sky then humbly said to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ: O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! You are the One who helps those who are helpless when they ask You for help, then the sky humbly said: ‘You are able call the Beloved Prophet   صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم towards me so that I can also be honoured in a way You have honoured the earth by his beauty.’ Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ answered this Du’a and granted this honour to the sky on the night of Mi’raaj.

The son of A’la Hadrat, Hujjat-ul-Islam Mufti Haamid Raza Khan رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه put it so beautifully:

ہے عبد کہاں معبود کہاں معراج کی شب ہے راز نِہاں

دو نُور حجابِ نُور میں تھے خُود رَبّ نے کہا سُبحان الله

ہیں عرشِ بریں پر جلوہ فگن محبوبِ خُدا سُبحان الله

اک بار ہوا دیدار جسے سَو بار کہا سُبحان الله

حیران ہوئے بَرق اور نظر اک آن ہے اور برسوں کا سفر

راکب نے کہا اللهُ غَنِی مَرکَب نے کہا سُبحان الله

طالب کا پتہ مَطلُوب کو ہے مطلوب ہے طالب سے واقِف

پردے میں بُلا کر مل بھی لیے پردہ بھی رہا سُبحان الله

جب سجدوں کی آخری حدوں تک جا پہنچا عبودِیَّت والا

خالق نے کہا مَاشَآءَالله حضرت نے کہا سُبحان الله
