٭Make a firm intention upon waking up that you will adopt piety and will not cause distress to others. (Fatawa ‘Aalamgiri, vol. 5, pp. 376)

 ٭When boys and girls are ten years old, they should be made to sleep separately. Even a boy of this age should not sleep with the boys of the same age or with men older than him.

(Durr-e-Mukhtar, Rad-dul-Muhtar, vol. 9, pp. 629)

 ٭When the husband and wife sleep on the same bed, they should not have a child of ten years old sleep with them. When a boy reaches an age where he can feel lust, the rulings for men will apply to him.

 ٭Perform Miswak upon waking up.

 ٭Offer Tahajjud after waking up in the night as it is a great blessing to do so. The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, ‘The best Salah after the Fard [Salah], is Salah performed in the night.’

(Sahih Muslim, pp. 591, Hadees 1163)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Du’a for salvation from disgrace on the Day of Judgement

In today’s Madani Halqahs of weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima of Dawat-e-Islami, the ‘Du’a for salvation from disgrace on the Day of Judgement’ would be memorized, which is as follows:

اَللّٰھُمَّ  لَا تُخْزِ نِیْ یَوْمَ الْبَأسِ وَ لَا تُخْزِ نِیْ یَوْ مَ الْقِیَامَۃِ

(Mu’jam-e-Kabeer, vol. 3, pp. 19, Hadees 2459)

Translation: O Allah Almighty! Save me from disgrace on the day of hardships and save me from disgrace on the Day of Judgement.
