Remember, using miswak is a very beautiful sunnah of our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .

Umm al-Mu’mineen, Lady ‘Aaishah Siddiqah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا has narrated,اَنَّ النَّبِیَّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ اِذَا دَخَلَ بَیْتَہُ بَدَاَ بِالسِّوَاکِ - “When the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would enter his home, he would first use miswak.”^[1]

Whether he slept during the day or night, he would use miswak upon awakening, before performing wudu. .^[2]

The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also said: السِّوَاكُ مَطْهَرَةٌ لِلْفَمِ مَرْضَاةٌ لِلـرَّبِّ - “Miswak is purity of the mouth and a means of pleasing Allah.”^[3]

Having heard of all of this, try your absolute best to act upon the sunnah of using miswak and every other sunnah. Alongside earning the great reward associated with this, your mouth shall become pure, and Allah will be pleased with you.
