character of the Muslims. It is due to these very services that he is referred to as Muhyiddin (i.e., the reviver of the religion).

How did he earn the title of Muhyiddin...?

Sayyiduna Ghous-e-Azam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said: Once on Friday, I was returning from a journey. On the way, I saw a very weak person who greeted me. I replied, and he said, 'Lift me up!' So, I lifted him and sat him down, and suddenly his face became radiant, and his body was rejuvenated. I was astonished, and he said, 'This is not surprising. I am the religion of (your Grandfather) Sayyiduna Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. I was weakening due to people's indifference and inaction. Allah Almighty has given me a new life through you; you are مُحْیُ الدِّیْن (Reviver of Religion).' After that, when I reached Baghdad and performed the Friday prayer, people rushed towards me, calling out 'O مُحْیَ الدِّیْن!' and began kissing my hands.[1]

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه ! Dear Islamic brothers! Our Pīr, Sayyiduna Ghous e Aazam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, is the Reviver of Religion (مُحْیُ الدِّیْن). At that time, people were becoming increasingly indifferent, heresy was gaining ground, and people were distancing themselves from their faith. The practice of Sunnah was being neglected, enthusiasm for prayer was diminishing, and the love for wealth, positions, and the allure of crowns and thrones was taking root in people's hearts. In such circumstances, Sayyiduna Ghous e Aazam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه took on the responsibility of reforming the Ummah, working tirelessly day and night he رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه revived the religion.

Dear Islamic brothers! By the blessings of Sayyiduna Ghous-e-Paak رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, millions and billions of people were reformed. Thieves repented and reached the lofty ranks of sainthood. Alcoholics, shameless individuals,
