Book Name:Jannat Mein Aaqa Ka Parosi
* A hadith states: "Reconcile among the creation, for Allah will also bring reconciliation among Muslims on the Day of Judgement."[1]
* Promoting love and unity among Muslims and reconciling between them is also the Sunna of our Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.[2]
* Indeed, our Intercessor, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم reconciled between the tribes of Aws and Khazraj.[3]
It is permissible to reconcile between two men or between a man and a woman by saying something untrue to reconcile them.[4]
A hadith states, “Lying is not permissible except in three cases; for a man to please his wife by saying something untrue, during battle, and to reconcile between people by saying something untrue.”[5]
There are three situations in which lying is permitted, meaning it is not sinful:
1. To prevent injustice from an oppressor.
2. To reconcile between two Muslims who are in conflict by saying things like, "He speaks well of you," or "He sent his greetings to you," to reduce enmity and encourage peace.
3. For a husband to please his wife by saying something contrary to reality.[6]
