Book Name:Har Tarha Ka Nasha Haram Hay

officers or employees, traders or farmers, literate or illiterate, in short, countless people belonging to different professions, classes and ages have been badly trapped in the curse of drug addiction. Different types of intoxications such as hemp drug [bhang], opium, cannabis resin [Charas], intoxicating injections and alcohol, etc. are becoming very common day by day. Alas! How foolish a man is! On the one hand, he is ruining his life, wealth and honour, on the other hand, he is disobeying and displeasing Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Spending money for useless things and ruining one’s life has been clearly forbidden in the Holy Quran. It is stated in Ayah 27 of Surah Bani Israel, part 15:

وَ لَا  تُبَذِّرۡ  تَبۡذِیۡرًا ﴿۲۶﴾

اِنَّ الۡمُبَذِّرِیۡنَ کَانُوۡۤا اِخۡوَانَ الشَّیٰطِیۡنِ ؕ وَ کَانَ الشَّیۡطٰنُ لِرَبِّہٖ کَفُوۡرًا ﴿۲۷﴾

And do not waste needlessly. Indeed those who needlessly waste are brothers of the devils; and the devil is very ungrateful to his Lord.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 15, Surah Bani Israel, Ayah 27)

Furthermore, it is stated in Ayah 195 of Surah Al-Baqarah, part 2:

وَ لَا تُلۡقُوۡا بِاَیۡدِیۡکُمۡ  اِلَی التَّہۡلُکَۃِ ۚۖۛ

And do not fall into ruin with your own hands.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 2, Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 195)
