One also comes to know from the account that the Blessed Companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم are those who mention the method of respecting the Noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to the Ummah. In fact, whichever methods of respecting the Noble Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم there will be until the Day of Judgement and which do not contradict the Shari’ah, they are commendable, like Sayyiduna Imam Maalik رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه not travelling on an animal in Madinah Munawwarah for the sake of the respect of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic sisters! There is no doubt that if one is fortunate to have true devotional love, then one also attains the methods of making such devotion apparent, and who can be more of a devotee of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم than the Blessed Companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم? Every Companion is a shining star of love and affection for the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in their own right. The examples of love for the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم that these sacred personalities presented are unparalleled. The greatness and status that they were decreed, no non-Sahabi can attain it; hence,

It is a blessed statement of the Noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, ‘Your spending of gold equal to a mountain cannot be equal to a Mudd or even half a Mudd spent by one Companion.’ (Bukhari, vol. 2, p. 522, Hadees 3673, summarised)

The services of the Noble Companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم

Dear Islamic sisters! You heard that the status of the Noble Companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم is so matchless that no one can even reach their rank and status.

*   The Noble Companions are those personalities who accepted Islam first and foremost.

*   They said صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم Labbayk upon the invitation of the Noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

*   They saw the Noble Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and saw his miracles with their (own) eyes.

*   They are the most superior and high-ranking amongst the Ummah.
