3. 70 Portals of mercy

صَلَّی  اللّٰہُ  عَلٰی  مُحَمَّدٍ

Whoever recites this Salat upon the Prophet, 70 portals of mercy are opened for him.

4. The reward of 600,000 Salat upon the Prophet

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ   عَلٰی   سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  عَدَدَ

مَا  فِیْ  عِلْمِ اللّٰہِ  صَلَاۃً   دَ اۤ ئِمَۃًۢ   بِدَوَامِ  مُلْكِ  اللّٰہِ

Shaykh Ahmad Saawi عَـلَيْهِ رَحۡمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـهَادِی reports from some saints of Islam that the one reciting this Salat upon the Prophet once receives the reward of reciting Durood 600,000 times. (Afdal-us-Salawat ‘ala Sayyid-is-Sadat, p. 149)

5. Nearness to the Distinguished Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ  عَلٰی  مُحَمَّدٍ  کَمَا   تُحِبُّ  وَ  تَرضٰی  لَہٗ

One day somebody came [to the blessed court of the Beloved and Blessed Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم], and the Noble Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم made him sit in between himself and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddeeq رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ. The respected companionsرَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُمwere surprised as to who that honoured person was. When he had left, the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘When he recites Salat upon me, he does so in these words.’ (Al-Qaul-ul-Badi’, p. 125)
