And what a definitely excellent final home for the pious.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Qur’an)] (Part 14, Surah al-Nahl, verse 30)
سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! Those who are shunned by society and who are spurned from the houses of the rich, but obey the commands of Allah; offer their prayers; observe fasts; earn Halal wealth and feed others from it; fear Allah; adopt the Sunnahs of the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم; who protect their eyes and hearts, and perform other good actions, will be the pious individuals brought forth with great splendour on the Day of Judgement. Just as the righteous are beloved to Allah Almighty, they are also loved by His Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
Umm-ul-Mu’mineen Sayyidatuna A’isha رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا states: “The Prophet would not be amazed by anything nor would anything in this world astonish him except for the people of piety.”[1]
Likewise, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: “The virtue of knowledge is greater than the virtue of worship, and the best thing from your religion is piety.”[2]
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that it was said: “O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! Who is the most honourable person?” He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied: “The one who is the most righteous from among the people.”[3]
