Allamah Maulana Sardār Aḥmad Qādiri Chishtī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was born in East Punjab in 1321 AH (1903 CE). He passed away on 1st Sha’ban 1382 AH (December 1962 CE). His childhood was different to that of normal children. He had an interest in religious matters from an early age. When he was able to walk, he would go to the masjid with his father and pray. He was fond of reciting dhikr and poetry in praise of the Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , such that he would recite it whenever he was walking.[2]

She would also say, “Your name is Sardār (leader). May Allah make you a leader in religion and in this world.”

Thus, it came to pass that the world became a witness that his mother’s prayers were answered for her great son, and Allah Almighty made him a leader.[3]

The prayers of a mother made Maulana Sardār Aḥmad              رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه the great Ḥadīth scholar of Pakistan. We also learn that our pious predecessors رَحْمَۃُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَیْہِمْ اَجْمَعِیْن pleased their parents and received their
