Jannat ke Qeemat

Book Name:Jannat ke Qeemat

How lofty is the rank of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! Let us pay attention to an account showing the exemplary manner in which he taught those who loved him.

At the time of his passing, the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم announced in a gathering:

If I owe anybody anything, caused harm to someone’s life, possessions or honour, then my life, possessions and honour are at hand. They should take what they are owed in this world. None of you should fear that I will become upset with them if you take your right; this is not befitting of me. I would prefer that if somebody has a right over me, they should take it from me or pardon me.

Then, he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said,

O people! If anybody owes another a right, he should fulfil it. He should not think he will be disgraced, for the disgrace in this world is much easier [to face] than disgrace in the hereafter.[1]

Harms of not reconciling

Remember, if a person does not reconciliate, not only does this harm relations between families, but it causes such a person to fall in the eyes of people. Nobody helps him; few people are there to support him in times of happiness and grief; and such a person is also deprived of many benefits in the hereafter.

What does reconciliation bring with it?

One attains humbleness through reconciliation. (Whosoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty raises him.)[2]
