Jannat ke Qeemat

Book Name:Jannat ke Qeemat

*   Creating love between Muslims and making them reconcile is also a Sunnah of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.[1]

*   The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم reconciled between two tribes: Aws and Khazraj.[2]

*   Lying in order to reconcile between two men or a man and a woman is permissible.[3] A hadith states that it is not lawful to lie except in certain cases, one of which is to lie to reconcile between people.[4]

*   One would not be sinful for lying in the following two cases as it is permissible to do so:

1) To avoid the oppression an oppressor intends to inflict.

2) To reconcile between two Muslims who have a disagreement. For example, someone says to one of them, “He [meaning, the second person] considers you to be good; he praises you,” or, “He has conveyed salaam to you.” Then, to go to the second person and say something similar so that animosity diminishes between them and they reconcile.[5]
