Book Name:Jannat Ke Khareedar

Dear Islamic brothers! Three special Companions of Allah’s Messenger were specifically mentioned here. Let us now mention the fourth of them; as in, the fourth Caliph of Islam, ꜤAlī b. Abī Ṭālib رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ.

SaꜤīd b. Zayd رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ states, “I heard the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم say, عَلِیٌّ فِیْ الْجَنَّۃ – ‘ꜤAlī will go to Paradise.’”[1]

The final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم mentioned another news of the unseen relating to Sayyiduna ꜤUthmān رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ, namely that a tribulation would befall him. This trial occurred at the end of the latter’s caliphate. A band of traitorous rebels attacked his home, preventing him from leaving and stopping any food going in or out.

Eventually, he was martyred in oppressive fashion. The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم informed him of this trial many years prior to its occurrence. It is apparent that by the bestowal of Allah Almighty, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم knows the occurrences of the near and distant future; in fact, he knows the events of the Day of Judgement and beyond.

The heavenly maidens of Paradise

ꜤUqbah b. ꜤĀmir رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates of how the final Prophet of Allah            صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم mentioned:

On the Night of MiꜤrāj, I entered Jannat ꜤAdn and came across a beautiful, large eyed maiden of Paradise. I asked, لِمَنْ اَنْتِ؟ - “Who are you for?” She replied, “I am for your successor who shall be unjustly martyred, ꜤUthmān b. ꜤAffān.” [2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
