The Great Personality of Sayyiduna Imam Ḥusayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ

Book Name:The Great Personality of Sayyiduna Imam Ḥusayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ

is forbidden and prohibited what is lawful. I have a greater right of elevating the truth in front of this devious ruler.”[1]

O devotees of the Prophet! Imam Ḥusayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ mentioned 7 evil habits of Yazīd:

1.   He committed major sins in public.

2.   He was an alcoholic.

3.   He was an oppressor.

4.   He obeyed the Devil instead of Allah.

5.   He spread mischief and corruption.

6.   He crossed the boundaries of Allah.

7.   He permitted what was forbidden and made the lawful unlawful.

Siddeeq-e-Akbar’s love for Imam Hasan رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا

When Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddeeq رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ became Ameer (leader) of Mu`mineen (believers) and caliph of Muslims, by virtue of the relation with the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم he رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ would take special care of Ahl-e-Bayt-e-Athaar and would say about Ahl-e-Bayt-e-Athaar: ‘The relatives of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم are dearer to me than my own relatives.’[2]

Farooq-e- A’zam’s great love for Imam Husayn رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا

Sayyiduna Imam Husayn رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ has said: One day, I went to the house of Ameer-ul-Mu`mineen Sayyiduna Umar Farooq-e-A’zam رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ. He رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ was busy having a conversation with Ameer Mu’awiyah رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ in
