The blessed maternal grandson of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Sayyiduna Imam Abu Muhammad Hasan Mujtaba رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ was born on 15 Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, 3 Hijri. (At-Tabqat-ul-Kabeer, vol. 6, pp. 356)
2 Sayings of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم made Du’a for Sayyiduna Imam Hasan Mujtaba رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ: ‘اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّى اُحِبُّه فَاَحِبَّهُ’ i.e. O Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! I love him, You love him too.

He is my flower in the world, and certainly, this son of mine is a Sayyid (leader); Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will make him a means of reconciliation between two groups of Muslims.

Martyrdom
He رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ embraced martyrdom by being poisoned, at the age of 47 in Madinah Munawwarah on 5 Rabi-ul-Awwal, 50 Hijri; and was laid to rest in Jannat-ul-Baqi’ in close proximity to his mother, Sayyidatuna Fatimah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا.
