Book Name:Gunahon ki Nahusat
Without doubt, none of us can bear these frightful punishments. So come, let us repent at once and spend the remainder of our lives avoiding sin; instead, let us obey Allah. Our success lies in this.
In a statement narrated by Sayyidunā ibn Ḥajar Haytami Makki رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, Sayyidunā ibn ʿAbbās رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا declared:
O sinner! Why are you not scared of suffering an evil outcome due to your sins?
It is more sinful to strive for a sin than to commit a sin itself. Your actions, words, not having modesty towards the recording angels and remaining steadfast on sin are also massive sins themselves. More sinful than this is your insistence on sinning and not repenting. Even more sinful than this is your joy when sinning and laughter when you go about it, despite knowing how Allah will deal with you. More sinful than even this is your sadness when you cannot commit a sin.
You will become scared if wind blew away the veil from your door as you indulge in sin, yet you remain unafraid of the sight Allah has upon you. This action of yours is even graver in sin (than all of the rest).[1]
The oppressed and aggrieved have an advantage
Dear Islamic brothers! Shaykh Abū Ṭālib Makki رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه writes in Qoot al-Qulūb:
Mostly, it will be the sins of others that are placed upon a person which will cause him to enter Hell (because he violated their rights). Countless people will acquire the good deeds of others
