The Weekly Ijtimā Department

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـهِ Dawat-e-Islami is a religious movement full of those who love the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. It works across over 80 departments around the globe, calling people towards righteousness. One of them is the Weekly IjtimāꜤ Department, which itself normally has three to five members. Their responsibilities include:

*   Drawing up schedules for noble Qur'ān and naꜤt reciters, as well as for muballighs.

*   Writing up information regarding recitation of the Qur'ān, naꜤt and speeches, as well as having these delivered to relevant responsible individuals at least seven days before an ijtimāꜤ.

*   Arranging security measures for an ijtimāꜤ, in particular at entry and exit points.

*   Arranging lighting, speaker systems and electrical power sources for an ijtimāꜤ.

*   Ensuring water is available at washrooms and wuḍūˈ areas.

*   Keeping masjids and any place in which an ijtimāꜤ is occurring clean.

*   Spreading mats and sheets for attendees to sit upon and having these collected post-ijtimāꜤ.

*   Kindly inviting Islamic brothers in areas around the ijtimāꜤ to attend and take part themselves.
