6   Showing people your disinterest in the world by saying you refrain from meeting famous and wealthy people.

7   Being compassionate and comforting people going through difficulties, so they call you kind-hearted.

8.   Keeping a tasbih in your hand in a way which shows it to others, making them hear the beads being used, or reciting things so they think you are righteous.  

9.   Fulfilling the sunnah in public whilst walking, sitting, eating etc. but not doing so when alone.

10.   Eating less when eating with others, so people think you are fulfilling the sunnah of eating less than one’s appetite.[1]

May Allah Almighty protect us from showing off!  

اٰمِیْنْ بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّٖن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! To protect ourselves from showing during worship, we must disregard and pay no attention to Satanic whispers. Just as it is necessary to have sincerity in the heart before performing a good deed, it is also necessary to maintain this sincerity in all our good deeds and acts of worship.

Developing this mindset can be difficult at first, but if you are determined and patient, it will become easier through the mercy and
