5. Being close to the Prophet
Once, a person came to the Prophet Amazingly, the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم made this person sit between himself and Sayyiduna Abū Bakr Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ.
The Companions عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان were surprised as to who this honoured person was. When he left, the Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم explained, “When he recites ṣalāt upon me, he does so in these words.”[2]
6. The ṣalāt of intercession
The final Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: “My intercession becomes wājib for whoever recites ṣalāt like this.”[3]
