Prophets and Messengers were genuine and real, yet they received it for the sake of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. That is why he صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is specifically called al-Rasūl.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The Blessed Names: Ra'ūf and Raḥīm

Dear Islamic brothers! In the 11th Para, Surah At-Tawbah, Ayah 128, Allah Almighty has mentioned two blessed names of His beloved صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. It is stated:

بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِیْمٌ )۱۲۸)

exceptionally gracious, merciful to the believers. ^[1]

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! What an honour for the Mercy for the entire creation, the Guide to the path of salvation صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم...!! Ra'ūf is also a name of Allah Almighty, and Raḥīm is also a name of Allah Almighty. To elevate the status of His beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Allah Almighty has bestowed these two names upon him.

Meanings of Ra'ūf and Raḥīm

The renowned commentator of the noble Quran, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Naeemi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states: Ra'ūf means one who removes hardship and suffering, and Raḥīm means the one who bestows favours and beneficial things.^[2]

This means that Allah Almighty has said that the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is Ra'ūf and Raḥīm towards the believers. Therefore, it is understood that the Rasool of mankind, the Peace of our heart and mind, the Most Generous and Kind صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم removes hardships from his servants, helps them in difficulties, troubles, and hardships, and also bestows favours by granting them beneficial things.
