Book Name:Khai Walon Ka Waqia
* It is better to travel on a Monday, Thursday, or Saturday.[1]
* The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم instructed Jubayr b. MuṭꜤim رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ to recite the following before travelling, allowing the Companion to remain in a more prosperous state than those accompanying him: Sūrat al-Kāfirūn, Sūrat al-Nasr, Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ, Sūrat al-Falaq, and Sūrat al-Nās.
Each should be recited once with بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم once in the beginning and end (thus, there will be 5 sūrahs and بِسْمِ اللہِ 6 times).
Jubayr b. MuṭꜤim recalls , “I was well off. Yet, when I travelled, I would fall into dire circumstances financially (in comparison to his friends). Ever since I began reciting these sūrahs prior to a journey, I remained prosperous and well off until my return.”[2]
More Sunnas and manners of travelling will be mentioned in study circles. Please do take part in them to learn more.
