“Ḥasan looks like the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, so I show him similar respect.”[1]
Welcoming Imams Ḥasan and Ḥusayn
Muḥammad b. YꜤaqūb عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم relates, “Whenever MuꜤāwiya welcomed Ḥasan or Ḥusayn, he would exclaim, مَرْحَباًوَ اَھْلاً بِاِبْنِ رَسُولِ اللہ – “Greetings and welcome, O son of Allah’s Messenger!””[2]
Dear Islamic brothers! The esteemed Companion MuꜤāwiya رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ passed away at the age of 78, on a Thursday in Rajab 60 AH. His grave is in Damascus, near Bāb al-Saghīr. A grand building stands tall around his resting place, and is opened for the public to visit every Monday and Thursday.[3]
May Allah grant us the ability to respect and love every Companion and member of the Ahl al-Bayt wholeheartedly.
