Blessings of Islam

Islam is the most peaceful sacred and prominent religion so it has uncountable blessings bestowed not only upon the believers of Islam, but also on the whole humanity and mankind. Islam guarantees the right of life for every human being. Every Muslim life is sacred in Islam and every person has been granted fundamental and universal rights at the time of their birth. The right of life has been recognized as one of the most important universal right derived from the Sharī’aĥ.

Fascinating Blessings:

Islamic teaching holds moral qualities, good gestures and action to uplift the status of a man. It is moral duty of every Muslim to treat all their fellow men with respect, kind heartedness, affection and care. In particular Islam emphasis on the respect of parents and elders, affection and care for the youngers, greeting with good manner, caring for the sick, speaking the truth and asking permission before entering into other’s house. We do not value these things but all these manners are prescribed by Islam as a blessing and a source to make a society peaceful.

Love for Humanity:

One of the qualities that Islam encourages among people is to uphold generosity. Both the Glorious Quran and the Hadith of the final Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ emphasis to spend money for the welfare and to eliminate the ratio of poverty from the society. This is a delightful way of Islamto fulfill the needs of helpless persons and to establish equality in the society. The need to be generous towards family, friends, neighbors, strangers or even enemies is mentioned in the last book of Almighty ALLAH عَزَّ وَجَلَّ the Glorious Quran and the authentic Ahadees of Last Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ . It is also one of the most beautiful blessing of Islam that it preaches to develop a passion to serve mankind, love for humanity, kindness in our hearts for others, a thirst for knowledge, honesty, humility, a desire to share knowledge with others and a constant desire to strive in the cause of Almighty ALLAH عَزَّ وَجَلَّ by doing good deeds.

Justice:

One of the important aspect of Islam is, that it does not recognize the racial discrimination among people and regards human being as equal children of Prophet Adam عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام .In His Farewell Sermon Beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ repudiated the discrimination based on race, caste, color, language or tribe. It is indeed unique grace and teaching of Islam that, no privileged or chosen class exists except those having piety and or moral excellence.

Kindness with Animals:

Islam does not only teach to be kind with humans only but it also preaches to be kind with animals as well. However many people treat animals in a very harsh way not only with the street animals but also with the one they bought as their pets. There are very few peoples who treat animals like the way prescribed by Islam and Beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ . Therefore we must understand the rights of animals and treat them with kindness.

“For instance if one ponders about significance and importance of the blessings of Islam and started counting, his mind will fade away but he will never be able to count the blessings and thebenefits of Islam ”.

In brief, Islam is a faith of love, kindness, sacrifice, mercy, sympathy and care. We should be compassionate, useful and helpful for others. We should all make use of all the blessings of this sacred and prominent religion. This is what Almighty ALLAH عَزَّ وَجَلَّ commands us and this is what our beloved Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم taught us.
