The Glorious 43-Year Journey of Dawat-e-Islami in Spreading the Light of Islam

Since 1981, Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadri initiated a noble mission to reform people across the world, and today, Dawat-e-Islami stands as a beacon of knowledge and spiritual enlightenment. The establishment of Jamiaat-ul-Madina, centers of learning and wisdom, the construction of mosques for religious and moral worship and training, the extensive network of madrasas for Quran memorization, numerous online courses imparting Islamic education, and the establishment of schools and colleges blending traditional and modern education to realize the dreams of a brighter future for boys and girls—all these are monumental achievements.

Furthermore, the establishment of Dar-ul-Madina International University (DMIU), a center of both religious and contemporary sciences, over 80 departments dedicated to religious service, and the spread of the message of the Quran and Sunnah in over 200 countries through scholarly and humanitarian institutions, are testament to Dawat-e-Islami's relentless efforts. Social welfare projects in countries affected by earthquakes, Storms, Winds, and Rains, and other natural disasters, the provision of essential items for the oppressed Muslims of Palestine—clothing, bedding, tents, drinking water, medicines—and orphanages for the education and training of orphaned children are just some of the many initiatives that exemplify Islamic traditions and ethics.

Dawat-e-Islami preachers are tirelessly engaged in the propagation of Islam and the reformation of souls, traveling from city to city, country to country, day and night. The promotion of the Quran's greatness and the celebration of World Quran Recitation Day to instill the importance of Quranic recitation, the acquisition of places of worship from other religions to be dedicated to teaching Islamic religious education and ethics—all these are part of the vast efforts aimed at reforming oneself and the entire world. The great works of Dawat-e-Islami, under the vision of its founder Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, can be witnessed in every corner of the world.

A glance at the digital services alone reveals that over 40 million people benefit from Dawat-e-Islami's mobile applications, web services, IT software, and religious programs offered by its IT Department. Every moment of Dawat-e-Islami's service to Islam continues to record new stories of success, surpassing the past.

On the great occasion of Dawat-e-Islami Day, it is fitting to pay tribute to this unparalleled, visionary figure, a man of piety who revived Islamic traditions and took up the mantle of spreading Islamic knowledge and the light of the Quran and Sunnah across the world on September 2, 1981. In just 43 years, he established a network of Faizan-e-Madina Islamic Institutes in over 200 countries, where millions of people are being reformed both outwardly and inwardly, and are also becoming a means of reforming others.

If we were to document the social services of Dawat-e-Islami’s welfare department, FGRF, in both domestic and international contexts, it would vividly illustrate the practical realization of the founder’s vision of reforming others. The FGRF's tree-planting campaign, aimed at increasing greenery and prosperity in the country, has captured the attention of every Pakistani.

As Dawat-e-Islami completes its 43 years on September 2, 2024, on this grand occasion, a new program, the LMS Dawat e Islami App, is being introduced by the Pakistan Consultative Office. This app aims to improve the organizational work within the country and establish better organizational discipline through a consultative system, setting principles and regulations. This app will facilitate the learning of Islamic knowledge and enable individuals to achieve success through various examinations.

In essence, Dawat-e-Islami, in accordance with Islamic principles, continues to meet the demands of every era through innovative programs, mobile apps, web services, learning management systems, donation cells, 3D animations for performing obligatory acts correctly, and intellectual discussions, scholarly debates, religious programs to improve morals, scholarly discourses by Islamic scholars to solidify beliefs and doctrines, and Islamic finance courses to manage the economy according to Islamic laws. These are just a few of the many religious, ethical, reformative, social, scholarly, and spiritual efforts that can be witnessed in Dawat-e-Islami's religious centers worldwide.

On the golden occasion of Dawat-e-Islami Day, we offer our profound tribute and heartfelt respect to the spiritual guide, Sheikh-e-Tariqat, Ameer-e-Ahlesunnat, Hazrat Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, who has bestowed upon us the great religious movement of Dawat-e-Islami, dedicated to spreading the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, fostering the learning of Islamic knowledge, guiding people to live according to the Sunnah of the Prophet, and striving for both inner and outer spiritual reform.
