Treating coughs

Recite « لَااِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ » 66 times every day and blow over the afflicted person. Continue doing this until the patient recovers.^[1]

Blessings in wealth

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِکَ وَرَسُوْلِکَ وَعَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِیْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ

Whoever reads this form of salat on the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم will see his wealth grow every day.^[2]

Protection against poisonous creatures

Recite the following supplication 3 times every day after Fajr and Maghrib salah, with salat upon the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم 3 times before and after.

اَعُوْذُ بِکَلِمَاتِ اللّٰهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

When you have finished reciting, read the 79^th verse of Surah al-Ṣāffāt.

Always recite this supplication, whether at home or travelling, in the morning and evening. This is a proven method for protection against poisonous creatures.^[3]

Improving memory

Before reading an Islamic book or beginning a class of sacred knowledge, recite this supplication with salat on the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم before and after.^[4] You will remember whatever you read or study, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه

اَللّٰھمَّ افْتَحْ عَلَیْنَا حِکْمَتَکَ وَانْشُرْ عَلَینَا رَحْمَتَکَ یَاذَاالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَام
