Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat’s Message for Children
Convey the reward of good deeds
Maulana Owais Yameen Attari Madani
Dear children,
The Ameer of Ahl Al-Sunnah, Allamah Muhammad Ilyas Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ states:
‘The good deeds of non-adolescent children are accepted, and they can convey the reward [of their deeds] too. Whoever they send their reward to, it will reach them by the mercy of Allah.’[1]
Dear children, we learn that the good deeds of children are accepted, and they can send this reward to others too. Therefore, after we pray salah, recite the Quran or different chapters from it, such as Surah Fatihah (اَلحَمْد) and Surah Ikhlas (قُلْ ھُوَ الـلّٰـهُ اَحَد), or after we recite the first article of faith (kalimah) or recite سُبحٰنَ الـلّٰـه and send peace and blessings upon the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, we should send its reward to the great figures of Islam and all those who have passed away. On the 22nd of the Islamic month Jumaad al-Ukhra, Muslims convey the reward of good deeds to the first Caliph of Islam, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddique رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ. We should also do the same on this occasion too.
