Some important events of Jumadal Ukhra

1^st Jumadal Ukhra - Passing of Sultan Bahu

Sultan-ul-‘Aarifeen, Sayyiduna Sakhi Sultan Bahu Sarwari Qadiri رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه passed away on 1^st Jumadal Ukhra 1102 AH. (For more information, refer to the Monthly magazine Faizan-e-Madinah, Jumadal Ukhra 1438 AH, and the booklet of Al-Madinah-tul-‘Ilmiyyah, ‘Faizan-e-Sultan Bahu’).

5^th Jumadal Ukhra - Passing of Maulana Roomi

The author of Masnawi, Maulana Jalal-ud-Deen Muhammad Bin Muhammad Roomi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه passed away on 5^th Jumadal Ukhra 672 AH. He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was a practicing scholar, an ascetic Sufi and the poet of Islam. (For more information, refer to the Monthly magazine Faizan-e-Madinah, Jumadal Ukhra 1439 AH).

14^th Jumadal Ukhra – Passing of Imam Ghazali

Hujja-tul-Islam, Sayyiduna Imam Muhammad Bin Muhammad Ghazali رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه passed away on 14^th Jumadal Ukhra 505 AH. He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was an illustrious scholar, greatest of the Sufis and an author of over a hundred books. The department Al-Madinah-tul-‘Ilmiyyah of Dawat-e-Islami has translated his following books: Ayyuhal Walad, Lubab-ul-Ihya, Mukashafa-tul-Quloob, Minhaj-ul-‘Aabideen and Ihya-ul-‘Uloom. 19^th Jumadal Ukhra – Passing of Malik-ul-‘Ulama

The successor of A’la Hadrat, expert in ‘Ilm-e-Tawqeet, Malik-ul-‘Ulama, Maulana Muhammad Zafar-ud-Deen Razavi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه passed away on 19^th Jumadal Ukhra 1382 AH. He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was a practicing scholar, Mufti of Islam and teacher of the scholars. (For more information, refer to: Hayat-e-Malik-ul-Ulama)

22^nd Jumadal Ukhra – Passing of the first rightly guided caliph

The first rightly guided caliph, companion of the cave and shrine, the unparalleled devotee, the leader of the believers, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddeeq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ passed away on 22^nd Jumadal Ukhra 13 AH in Madinah-tul-Munawwarah. He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was buried next to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ is the best among people after the Prophets and Mursaleen.
