The beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also beautifully described:

Allah Almighty will send ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام, who shall descend upon the white eastern minaret of Damascus’ jāmiʿa masjid whilst wearing two light, yellow pieces of clothing. He will have his hands on the arms of two angels. When he lowers his head, drops of water will fall, and when he raises his head, white silver beads will shower like pearls.[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! One distinct aspect from the blessed life of sayyidunā ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام, is that he was very simple in nature and possessed boundless humility. If he wished, he could have lived a life of luxury and comfort, amassed a heap of wealth, wore the most expensive clothes, eaten the best food and lived in a palace; but may we be sacrificed upon his simplicity. He did no such thing, but instead rejected the comforts and luxuries of this temporary world, preferring to live a life of simplicity and humility.  He would encourage others to do the same.

The simplicity of sayyidunā ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام, and his advice

Sayyidunā ʿUmar bin Sulaym رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه narrates:

Sayyidunā ʿĪsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام once went to his companions whilst wearing a woollen upper garment, a simple lower garment,  bare-footed and bare-headed. Due to hunger, his colour had changed, and his lips had become completely dry due to thirst.

 He greeted his companions with salam, and said, “O Banī Isrāīl! If I wish, then with the decree of Allah Almighty, the world and all its bounties would fall at my feet. But I do not like for this. O
